Open Hours at the Squirrel! (work space/grab coffee/about us)

Thursday, July 18, 2019
10am - 5pm
The Squirrel at 285 Clarissa Street
Rochester, NY
1st floor, wheelchair accessible

The Flying Squirrel Community Space welcomes folks to come find out more about the space and take a tour! If you like, bring your work and grab a cup of organic, fair trade coffee for a $1 donation. We'll have tables set up and power strips so those of you with computers can drop in and plug in. We also have free WiFi.

And while your at the space drinking coffee, hanging out, and doing work, check out a 1.5 h study session on the Police Accountability Board legislation to be on the ballot Nov. 5 hosted by the Police Accountability Board Alliance!

Bring a bag lunch and come read through and discuss the passed Rochester City Council legislation creating the Rochester Police Accountability Board. (The PAB will be established if the electorate votes in favor of a referendum on the ballot for the Nov. 5, 2019 general election.)

The purpose of the study session is to read through the legislation, answer questions, and get people involved in the movement to pass the referendum this fall.

At this session we will start from Section 18-5 Powers and Duties. You can download the legislation at: http://rochester.indymedia.org/node/148019
