Measures for Justice (MFJ) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization whose mission is to make criminal justice data more accessible and transparent for the public. Currently, we are building an accessible data platform using data from the Rochester Police Department (we are not an agency or unit of RPD). A vital piece of this work is reaching out to the citizens of Rochester to learn as much as we can about how people interact with their police department and what information would be most useful to track. We want to ensure the platform is accessible to those that may wish to use it. The team will be holding listening sessions in Rochester that will be open to the public. Anyone may come and share their honest opinions.
